greg, a wideband comes with a bosch lsu 4.2 oxygen sensor, and all you do is REPLACE your cars o2, with the one it comes with, and it has a wire that will go to the single wire that USED to run to your stock o2 sensor... I run a AEM UEGO wideband and i think its the best thing since sliced bread... no extra boxes, or controllers.. just the guage, the o2 sensor, and two wiring harnesses...
(one to the o2, and one for power, and the extra wire for stock o2 to ecu)
i found mine on ebay for 200.00 shipped and thats a good price...
and in the future, it has plug ins for standalone computers, and data logging equipment...
as for the ecu, let rocket tune you a chip...
hes a real person, and if you go to a meet or the MACG you can actually talk to him...
I currently run the 3rd option
...the corksport ecu, actually made by the faceless company EL PROTOTYPES...dont get me wrong, it does exactly what its supposed to.. but its not like if it didnt, i could just call EL.. id have to go through corksport.. who is a standup group and sells only top quality stuff.. but still a hastle just the same...
i also have a 7500 rpm rev limit on my car...
which if i were cammed with a hardened valvetrain, would be great.. but on the stock lifters 7200 can float valves and is a scarry thought...
anywho, let rocket hook you up...hes a friend i aint even met... but without him my car would still be sputterin in boost and all that jazz...
heres a good word for a good guy....
