Nice Dude. What a difference those wheels are going to make on your Capri.
What size tire did you end up with ?
-
those are 205 50 15 35 mm offset which in the most you can go if you want the tire in the finder welli can go taller on the tire and got about a .5inch away from the strut and that lower bar on the back... i stayed at 15 so i can get good drag slicks and cheaper to.. (http://smile.gif)
-
It's good to be safe, but on the '93 I run 205 55 R15s on American Racing "Estrella" wheels - no offset.
I've got 20,000 miles on them and have taken several 2000 - mile trips with luggage. Never been a problem.
-
hey blue, you have to have an off set or the wheel would be on the out side of the finder. the off set i talking about is the wheel its self stock wheels have like a 44mm offset.

just needs lowered a bit now..looking nice
-
yeah it seems those tires make it look tall i dont know but i think i well lower it at somepoint
-
Ya know, Knoxville, it fills the wheel wells nicely and those wheels look nice. I had a Triumph Tr-4 and decided a long time ago that the couple of inches you get by lowering only makes your car look like everybody else's. Not only that, but those extra couple of inches are not going to be the factor that takes you to "light speed" - then of course, there are the speed bumps.
It looks good.
-
I think it looks good, too! I especially like the satellite antenna coming out of the roof...............!! (http://graemlins/oops.gif)
-
yeah this is one guys that goes around them lol at all cost i hate speed bumps they should make speed dips much easyer to go over lol and thanks man now if i can GET SOMEONE TO MEASURE THERE ROLL BAR ill get that put in there
-
yeah thats so i can hear which way those ricers are runing so i can go bust their asses!!! (http://graemlins/Oo.gif)
-
Looks great Brother !
What a difference in the way it looks from the stock wheels.
Nice.
-
I wonder If I could lower my car a couple inches but then put 20" rims (with spacers of course) and bring the ground clearance back up. Hey make one of these "Donk" cars.
-
lol maybe but i think you well have to get such an offset with spacer youll never get to drive it for replace bearings lol
-
ya know cheap gas or sometimes gas with ethanol in it can make it knock around a bit
-
oops wrong place i can be such a roo
-
You make it sound like a bad thing................
If you're lucky, you can be a "Super-Roo!!
