hey just2day,
i got mine from pj at midcounty mustang, great guys and relatively cheap.
i found that the strut brace stiffened the front end up alot.
i had lowered sport springs and koni suspension installed before bolting in the brace and the car already handled great.
after installing the brace the front end was too rigid and now plow understeers. i know it sounds ridiculous but the car handled better with the natural flex it had, probably due to the combination of after market suspension being overly stiff and cheap tyres.
the positive side to having the brace is that the car is much more predictable during cornering and in the event that the rear lets loose on the exit of a turn the sudden recoil is reduced. not sure if this is because the brace does not allow you to get into that situation of if it inhibits the structural flexing of the strut towers. it could well be both.
bottom line that it is one of the most effective way to alter your handling. it is cheap, easily installed and as a single component provides noticable results.
