Got my 93 Capri in exchange for a computer I got for free.

If money was no object,  I'd own a whole fleet of capris and 1 2001 cavalier conv.

I don't think I'd trade the capri in for anythnig except a running one.

Chuck-
Glad to see you made it!!  You will find the people here can probably answer your questions better than I can regarding your Capri.
And in response to your email, a Capri meet would be cool.  In fact, if you check the car show section, you will see that the largest Capri meet in North America is happening on August 28th not more than a couple hours drive from you (Freeport, IL).  Also, in the gallery section, there are pictures of last years meet, with 3 of my capri's pictured!!

Thanks Russ,  and we'll see if my problem can be solved....  Here's my issue.   I have a 93 auto, Starts with starter fluid and runs, is seems to miss sometimes, and when it's at an idol, that miss kills it. Also, the "manual shift" light keeps flashing for awhile,  then it stops.

What I've done... Changed the rotor, cap, plugs, wires.... changed the TPS, changed this little canister that keeps making a clicking noise that's on the ps of the engine by the intake.

Last time I noticed the manual shift light flashing,  i was able to get it to stop by cleaning the battery cable (wierd thing is that the car was getting power before the cleaning but I guess it wasn't good power)  

Please let me know what else I should try.  At this rate it'll be cold out before I get to drive it.

I'm Alejandra, from SoCal, I got mine as a gift on Sept 2002, my first car and since it was a gift better something than nothing at all.  I like he convertible part or it.  My dream car is a BMW series 3 (as to the engine and stuff, something fast, yet classy and cute) I want to restore my car (once I start earning good money) and make it pink.  The Capri is cute (I guess that makes it sissier) but i would change the pointy nose, and would put in a back seat that fits someone other than dogs, little children or midgets!

BTW, there was a special "pink panther" edition challenger, the color released in conjunction with the old pink panther movie series with Peter Sellers.
And there was the ole pink cadillac that appeared in several movies. Not to mention the pink cadillac made famous in the aretha franklin song, driving down the freeeeeeeeeway in a pink cadillac.

Bill is still looking for an other 94 capri so he can paint it pink and put lepard skin seats in  it so he can drive around blaring his 8 track of the Village People...He told me so.
Yes Bill I know that you wife likes meals and not snacks thats why she calls me all the time she says compared to you being over here is like getting a 4 course meal with dessert and after dinner drinks.....I bet Bill is wishing that i just go back to work..sorry bro I actually got a little time off work and had to stop by and say hi.
