Post by: Gostlrs on March 13, 2009, 03:04:00 AM
please anyone know how to pull the codes?

i keep getting the light every once in a while and i want to figure out what it is without taking it to the dealer for a 70$ fee for 5 minutes of work.

i got a new o2 sensor on it anyways.

i just want to know how to pull the codes...makes troubleshooting 1000 times easier.

it does not happen every day.

i notice it happens more in the mornings when going to work. never when coming home.

not every morning either.

it should be as simple as shorting out 2 wires and watch the lights when the car is on and not running....

which chart do i use?

one said it was
15     Oxygen Sensor Voltage
25     FPRC Solenoid

the other
15 (O)No Keep Alive Memory power to PCM pin 1 or bad PCM (Memory Test Failure)

25   Knock sensor not tested (ignore if not pinging) - KS

i have a new O2 sensor in the car already. I think my crank wobbles some. it is not loose to touch but when running it appears to wobble. maybe thats causing it to fail?
