saw this on ebay

says 79-94 VW Cabrio latch will fit 91-94 Capris w/ some modification. Any truth to it?

Im not sure that would have to be a test. But I have heard that most convertiables use a standard latch system that the capri has. Now if that latch is the VW latch in the picture then it almost looks just like the capri one. Only way you could be sure is trial and error. If it works good for you and another source found.
