Title: What ECU do I have?

Just scored a bunch of parts, including what looks to be a B6V8 ECU, with "MIKE B6T" written on it in black marker.  The cover screws are glued in, I guess to prevent folks from prying into whatever internal mods may have been done.  Who else modifies B6T ecus?... Chris

B6V8 is an XR2 computer. No idea what "MIKE B6T" is. If you can get the cover off & see if there's a chip or any wiring, I can get a better idea of what's been done to it.

Doesn't sound like anything from any of the other past 'chippers' could be from someone else modding it

wild guess, probably wrong.
Didn't mike welch from RRE used to mod the ecu? or maybe someone bought an ecu that was named mike... and it was just getting marked. And I swear there was another person, either here or on the capri group that claimed to know a lot about the ecu and fuel maps and stuff... thought he had a custom chip for a while....
