I know nothing about that intake, probably flows more CFM then the Aussie/US spec model. First time Ive heard of this intake. Azgtx could probably give us more info on it.

It changes the powerband a bit, it's better flowing for top end power but you lose a bunch of your low end grunt, which the B6T kinda lacks to begin with

USDM didnt use it because it hit the firewall during crash tests

Wow, that link is very informative...

I'm driving a RHD so I think the hoses should line up ok, I like the idea of more hp at top speed = better fuel economy so may give this a go.

There's one here going for AUD $100... not bad for something hard to find.

Btw... if you put in a custom intercooler pipe with say 2" piping, shouldn't that improve low end grunt ?

That is my website.

2" piping will not improve low end grunt. The torque comes from the runner design in the intake manifold.

Matt is correct. These manifolds also went to the European market. If you are looking for top end breathing these are what you want. The EDM b6t's also came with the VJ9 turbo and bigger injectors. It would be similar to the vj16 which was the Group N turbo for rally teams. This turbo is bigger than the vj14 or even the 11/14 hybrid so it could use the increased air flow.
