Billy, billy billy billy. BILLY, billy billy.

How are things down in Florida?  Hows work? hows your wife? Hows your cars?  hows your health?  When are you going to give me your Challenger?  So many questions, so little time.

Well now, it's Dr Bob-
the cross dressing proctologist.

I just sold the final triplet, black beauty.
The new owner will pick her up either this sunday or next sunday.
It's real sad for me as I was her orig owner, I put every mile on her, but time marches on.

I sold the red one for 3500, the guys son picked it up from me, the guy flew down from Indiana, and the next day returned it to me saying he didn't think it could make the trip to Indy.
Like a schmuck, I agreed to take it back & he brought it to my restaurant, with the top down.
I gave him the check, he left, & I went to put the top up & there were 2 big holes in it where the frame popped right trough it.
He said he owned many capris & never had a problem. I stopped the check & agreed to send him 3K when I sold it, I deducted 500 for ruining the top.
I then sold it for 2500 and sent him 2k, I still owe him 1k.

I replaced the capris with an 05 sebring vert for me and a 99 sebring vert for the wife.
They really ride smooth and although the 45 seconds it takes to put the top up or down never bothered me, having a power top  is really great.

Next to go is the cordoba, I never drive it & it just sits in the driveway.

The purple challenger is my baby but I still owe 25K for the resto, but it looks like it just came out of the showroom.
The only bad thing is when you spend 40k on a car, it should be your driver but I drive it MAYBE 1 day per month, it's just too pretty and the old folk down here drive like crapola.
So I mostly gaze fondly upon it in the garage.

Biz down here sucks, the economy down here has been sooooo bad, it's bad enough to be seasonal but this is the worst I've ever seen.

And you.....
how's your high heel collection.
XOXOXO

Hey Razz! You almost sound angry! I would be extremely angry at that jackass. Did he state how he did the damage? If the econ sucks there try California. Actually both states are at the top of the list as most suffering in this econ. Hang in there and am sorry to lose you as a fellow capri owner.  Gus

Bill Razz ,

Sunday afternoon in sunny Brisbane , just took my '94 Clubsprint for a run, it's getting old now, 73,000 miles on the dial

I was sorry to read you've sold all three of your Capris, you and I have been part of many forums over the years and one by one familiar faces are moving on. Maybe I'll be next to act my age and buy something more fitting for a 57 year old ?

Sorry to hear about the bum deal on the soft-top

If business in Florida is slow, slip away, come down under to Oz, you'll love it

Hey Bill
OZ, oh yeah.
I hear that it's one of the most beautiful places in the world to live.
Plus the shipping is better from SSV on those body kits, lol.
I really loved my capris but I needed something bigger, more reliable etc.
Who knows, maybe the gal won't come next sunday.
Right now she just sits in the garage next to the challenger.
Hey, any nice mopars down under?
And don't worry, I turn 57 in november but I'm just reliving my childhood thanks to the challenger.

Gus-
When the guys son picked up the car, I put the top down & up twice to show him how it's done.
He took the car, it was a thursday- his dad was to fly down tuesday, 5 days later.
Well his dad flew in on tues and called me wed to return the car.
When I confronted him on it, he said he owned many capris, never damaged them while putting down the top, so it must have been a problem with my top. What BS.
When I opened the boot cover to put up the top the day he ret'd it to me, I saw the elbows of the frame had poked 2 huge holes through the top.
I think he just forced the top into the well, and slammed the boot cover shut.
That has to be the only explanation.
