Hey guys, mostly a lurker here but I figured I post a bit about our 24 Hours of Lemons racer since this is the most complete board for these cars around.  This is just a the link to the minimalistic blog about the car so please forgive me for not actually attaching any pictures but they can be seen at the blog.

Our first race with the car was last weekend so more pictures will be coming shortly.

Theres a guy in Colorado prepping a 91 XR2 to race in their LeMons, but I dont think they've run yet.

Neat project, when I have time I'll read up on the blog, looks excellent from skimming though!

Need to get a chip in her and crank the boost for moar powah!

im a proud owner of a rocket chip and you can make these car FAAAST and since that car is stripped it would be VERY fast.

We've avoided any performance mods because you have to stay under $500 total for the car and these would have to count against that.  Plus, it's not really about who has the most power, but who can make the most laps, reliably.  Though, more power is always nice.

Holy crap, another Capri in Lemons!!   I've driven in 13n Lemons races now, but always in Saab 900 turbos on the west and east coasts.  We won the first Lemons South, got 10th the next Lemons South, and then 2nd at the last Lemons south in Sept.  I have set the lap records, too.  

Seriously fun stuff.  

I am now building my XR2 for the Colorado Chump Car and Lemons races.  I have sold a few things off the car already, so I have a $750 budget or so.   :D
