I just put a 2 1/4 id exhaust system on my capri i need a header BAD!!! also whats a good intercooler system to use on this motor along with blow off an wastegate is it internal or external wastegate?

You're throwing a lot of terms around here.
We have an internal wastegate. Port it if you ever have the turbo off.
A naturally aspirated car uses a header, and can help improve power. We have a turbo, there's no need to upgrade it unless you're going to a larger turbo & want a custom piece. Even then, there's very few benefits to be had unless you're pushing 250+hp. Very few aftermarket options for turbo manifolds on our engines.
Search around here regarding intercoolers. You'll have to piece together your own kit, there's a few threads here that detail the necessary components.
Same with the BOV - quick recommendation would be a Greddy type RS clone or an HKS SSQV clone.

What is used to upgrade the pipe size from turbo to 2.25. I have cat, muffler, and pipe in 2.25 but curious what was used to go from the turbo to connect to the 2.25 exhaust pipe. Is there a flange or adapter of some sort. I havent gotten under the car yet, but want to mock up the exhaust to have it welded up before attaching to turbo.

What are you guys using for exhaust? My local Meineke wanted $450, that's only 50 less than I paid for the car.

i am piecing mine together from random parts. Using Stainless steel pipe, magnaflow high flow cat #2000124. Cherry bomb 87521CB muffler etc. Going to be a very short exhaust dumping behind passenger front tire. I MAY run it back to the front of passenger rear tire if exhaust fumes become a problem.

I use 2.25D system with a turbo muffler. I believe my exhaust man said the down pipe and cat were 2.25D but sized down for the stock.system.
