well, the el prototypes (corksport) ecu i have banks rev limiter at 7500 the valve springs will allow valve float at 7200 so revving past that is very ill advised (thats y im no longer running low compression, bank 3 times at 7500 and pop) but ive banked once or twice without worries
if your smart you should put it at 7200...
the only real way to know is to go find it .. if you hit 7500 with nothing than stop.. its gonna go boom.... its also about load and fuel and air
but 7200 on a stock set of valvesprings is safe
more than that is not
ive been racing on the highway and misshifted into 3rd when i was trying for 5th ive seen over 8,000 rpm.. but i wasnt on the gas becuase i knew as soon as i done it... just didnt have quick enough clutch foot to not see 8 grand...
with valvesprings theese motors can spin pretty high...
ive seen full race build miatas rev 9,000... but thats with lighter, stronger, springs, retainers, and, buckets...and prolly like ti valves or somethin...
