OBD1 readers won't work (no connection for it).  In techcapri.com, the manual for diagnostic testing is there, using the flashing engine light method, engine codes can be decoded using the information there...Chris

Code readers are for 1996+ vehicles

Jumper the test connector like Chris says, you will see if there are any codes via the check engine light.

On the firewall, passenger side where the main engine harness passes through. There's two open plugs there. I'm colorblind & I forget which one is the diagnostic plug - you just have to jumper it.

I shorted the jumper as described in the manual but I didn't get any check engine light..
The Airbag light is flashing a pattern and the overdrive light blinks continuously.

Anyone have any ideas????

The airbag light has been flashing since I got car..

FYI - you ground the single green jumper to the body to activate the MIL

Ideas about what?  If there are no codes then there is nothing wrong that the computer can detect.  I don't think this system stores codes, so your check engine light has to be on for a code to show up...Chris
