I have heavy oxidation on the tops of the front and rear bumpers of my '94 XR2. So far all the paint is original on the car and in nice shape except for these two spots.

Has anyone found a spray can in red thats a close match to the oem cardinal red? I want to respray the bumper tops and blend the color in to the rest of the bumper.

Hello Rob, any good automotive store can mix your red for you and put it in an aerosol can.  Good luck with your project, Jack

I haven't found anything off-the-shelf that's close. My car ain't much of a looker at the moment.

I'd imagine there's a decent bit of variation in factory paint nowadays too, things fading differently etc

I would look into Dupli-color perfect match. Probably the closest youll find in off the shelf spray paint

Thanks guys! Gonna try my local paint supply house and see what they might have, and if they can mix me up an aerosol can. If not, the maybe searching out a duplicolor can online might be the answer.
