Whats nice though is if you only want to spend $500 you can still have an awesome little street monster that'll stomp on a helluva lot of cars!

Well i did it. Ordered Tokico struts and H&R springs, Tunerfixx's strut tower brace, MBC and magnacor wires. I feel a little lighter now. lol. Just finished putting in the ACT clutch. Shit, what a job. Never again. I'll sell the frigin car before i do it again. Broke a wheel stud off the front and another off the sway bar. Not a fun job but it's done. Going to try and pull the ECU unit out tonight and send to Rocket. Maybe i won't screw that up. Man working on older muscle cars was easier. lol. But i'm getting there. This thing better be fast. lol.

Well i can't believe it! Pulling the ECU unit out was the easiest thing i've done yet. Sending off to Rocketman tomorrow. Now just waiting for struts and springs and mbc, oh my. I sure hope this thing is faster after all this.

Glenn-
LOL! I feel your pain!  I used to own a '73 Challenger Rallye, and rebuilt that car from the ground up myself. Somehow I ended up falling for these little cars, and I have had to re-learn everything I  thought I knew about cars and they way they work!  Computer controlled and turbocharged are all new to me, but I'm trying to learn!  When I get stumped, I just import my mechanic from Eastern PA.......

Thanks, i'm going to learn this stuff yet. lol.
I do have some help from a friend that knows quite a bit about turbo cars and is schooling me. lol. It's a trade off because i'm teaching him how to fly radio controlled airplanes. With that and this forum which is the greatest thing since peanut butter, i'll get it. Great ride you have and anyone can see you have put alot of love into it. I'm having fun no matter how bad it sounds from my posts. lol. These little kritters are funnnnnn. Just waiting for my ecu to get back now.

Glenn-
I assume you mean a BOV (blow off valve)? Cory at Tunerfixx.com should have them, as well as the MBC you'll need!

Update. Got my ECU back from Rocketman and installed last night. New clutch, axles and cone air filter. Boost controller just came in and need to install it tonight. Have'nt driven the car yet with mods because i need BOV installed. H&R springs are here but waiting on struts.
She's been down for weeks and i'm getting ants in my pants. lol. They are starting to bite and i want to drive my buzz bomb. Still have'nt decided weather to take the air conditioner out or not. Any chance these cars could be collectors
and be worth $100.000.00 in the near future? lol.

$100.000? For sure. If you mean $100,000 no way.  Even the '94 XR2 that is in such short supply isn't worth anywhere near that.  Nice thought though.

Ok , drove the car last night with the ECU chipped, cone filter and 2 1/2" exhaust. Feels better but don't have the boost controller or BOV on yet. Not going to hurt it by driving it without these am i?  BC and BOV going in next. Does anyone have a compressor housing and wheel from a vj 11 so i can make a hibrid? Looking on ebay but nothing yet.

Why would driving the car with low boost and without blowing metered air to atmosphere hurt it?
