I just listed my Capri's and all my shit on the Chicago craigslist. I need to get something a little more Arthritis friendly.

Yea, I posted it this afternoon @ about 1pm sometimes it takes them a while. It's the first time I ever listed on craigslist maybe they are verifying it or maybe they're lazy today so here it is in it entirity.

For Sale;
1-1994 Mercury Capri XR2
1-1991 Mercury Capri XR2
1-1993 Mercury Capri N/A 5 Speed (Parts Car)
1-1993 Mercury Capri XR2 (in parts)

I have for sale 2 drivers and one whole parts car plus a garage full of parts from another 93XR2.

Car #1 1994 XR2 can be seen here; http://www.midcomustang.com/capri_1994_xr2_registry.shtml (http://www.midcomustang.com/capri_1994_xr2_registry.shtml)

This car is substantially as I bought it except that it was vandalized on the driver’s side door. There are 2 replacement doors in the extra parts. It has approximately 130K on the odometer. It is stock with a full size XR2 15” spare. The tires are in poor shape the soft top is in great shape. It needs axels I have those also. It has a matching hard top. The interior is in fairly good shape the driver’s side seat has a bad seam and some wear on the bolster. Most people looking at this know what these cars are and they very rarely come up for sale and should appreciate nicely in the future.

Car #2 is my daily driver. It has a hard top. It has 97K on the odometer but had a motor swap with the 93XR2 Large nose B6T and has about 70K on it. I just replaced the timing belt yesterday. Also this car just yesterday lost a bearing in the left front wheel that will be replaced next week end.
This car has been moderately modified with a “Reich Racing” ECU, 2 ˝” turbo back exhaust system, manual boost controller, “Ground Control” coil over system with 450lb./ in. 7” long front springs and 220 lb./in. 9” long rear springs. These were put together properly and not to just slam the car. The suspension has been updated with urethane bushings in front completely and in back as are available. All struts are 1 yr old. It received new brake calipers, rotors, strut mounts and stainless braided brake lines at the same time. The brake fluid was changed out completely to synthetics. The trans. has the 626 5th gear mod. a “Fidenza” alum. fly wheel and Zoom 6 puck sprung Kevlar clutch.
I have a Trust intercooler and 2 different hybrid turbo’s for this car. I have many more performance parts for this car. This car handles beautifully and is very fast and quick.

Car #3 this is a 93 N/A parts car with good body panels and a long nose crank engine.

I have an incredible stock of parts including body panels electrical glass and an extra hard top.

I will not sell these separately. I want to sell everything at one time. I have about $16,000 tied up in these cars but I only expect to recover a portion of that. I will take partial trades of a 5.0 Fox body Mustang or Capri, maybe others also but only Ford’s are wanted.

Russ if you e-mail me and tell me you’ll offer me $1 for the lot I’ll drive out there and plant my foot in your rump!

I really like the cars but I'm headed to the hospital next week for testing then to a rheumitoligist for whatever the hell they can do (probably drugs). It's really getting hard to do anything with my hands anymore and I can't get on the ground unless I have something to pull myself up on. I abused my body when I was young and now I'm paying for it.

Put tires on the 94 last night. The ride is beautiful now. I'm going to change the right axel this week end and put a radiator in it. I really didn't want to work on these any more but the Doc gave me some awesome pain killers and I don't think I'll feel a thing!
