On ebay there is a vj-11 turbo taken off a 92 ford probe gt, Is this the one used to make the vj-14 hybrid? I am looking at getting mine rebuilt any way, can I combine the two to make a better one? Does anyone have any leads for info on how to do this? Thanks.

get a 14b from 1st gen eclipse, it can run 16lbs of boost all day long

you can pick them up for 150-200 all day

Yes, thats what you'd need for the 14/11 hybrid. I dont know if theres any writeups on it but its not that hard, if you send it out to be professionally rebuilt send them both turbos and it will come back already done.

The VJ11/14 is a nice little unit for our cars.  The Super-Roo runs one, and I love it! Big difference over stock.

After returning from the turbo shop, it will still just bolt up?  I just offered the guy $150 shipped? see what he says, eh?  I also just posted my new "85" 5.0 gt convert on craigs list for $2500. If it sells here comes the new short block and the high compression build. Lowering springs and new tires and wheels. Lord are you listening. Someone might bite and then i will have to keep the XR2, shit, that or sell it for a house! i think I'll be close to making a down payment!

the 14/11 hybbrid is a great way to go !! havnt test driven mine but i also have the vj-20 dump pipe which has the 02 bung threaded and much more flowy than the stock so once i get car back from muffler shop will post up a vid and tell you how she drives
