Something isn't adding up, why does it have the SMALLER 5 spoke wheels, and I'm not seeing fog lights on the front.  I just realized the wing is from the earlier models, with the square third brake light.  What is with the turndowns?  I doubt it's a real XR2.

Yep, I noticed some of those things too, but I'm no expert. Can't really tell if there are fog lights or not. Just thought it was interesting to see an ad for 94 XR2. Don't see too many.

5spokes + no sideskirts... wing/badge from an early model...no go to me.

Overpriced for needing a water pump... not a bad looking car though

Fog lights are very far forward mounted, you'd see them in both lower pics, and neither show it, including the front view.

Unless he has an under hood picture, it's not worth much as a Frankenstein.

Don't understand why so many people try to pass these cars off as something they're not. I mean even an uneducated person like myself would have someone with more knowledge check it out first. Irritating!

That is NOT an XR2! 5 spoke wheels (instead of 7), no side skirts, a 91-93 wing. And the one thing that convinces me it is not: the exhaust tip. On a 94 XR2, they are chrome and oval!

Still a nice find for someone who likes to dicker on the price. Go all the way out there to discover its a n/a - take $500 off immediatly! I did this last summer with a cobalt 94 that was advertised as an xr2. It wasnt. They wanted $800, but i walked away with the car, and only spent $200! I kinda felt sorry for the kid, after i left, but you really need to know what you're selling.......

Yep, I can see all that now. Still learning what to look for so I don't get screwed myself. I may be looking for a second Capri in a few months and all this info helps a lot.

By the way Russ, you still have some driver side fenders laying around?
