Went to the local junk yard today and found 3 capris only 1 had the radiator in it. Lol pulled it and it's like brand new lucked out. It's aluminum so it's a lot better I've been told

The aluminum ones with the plastic tanks are problematic. The all-metal ones are considered superior as far as durability goes.

Which junkyard did you go to? Were any of the capris turbo?

Also, there was a thread on here regarding size, IIRC the 23" was the correct size, a 26" will not fit

I had purchased an aluminum aftermarket radiator for a civic, it was too thin. Youd want at least a 2-row rad. I ended up reselling it.

The inlet &the outlet are also far too small for stock hose size, you either need them converted or a system of adapters. The bottom one faces the wrong direction.

It can be done, but its not a simple bolt in deal

I had a guy at work do this search for me before to find a radiator.  He eventually ended up finding the only company who makes a 23 inch unit with 2 core as OE on XR2's.  Price was somewhere around $120, probably looking at $160 for retail.

Don't need a 2 core radiator if it's stock size. The Civic radiator is only half the width of the stock radiator, and needs an extra row to offer the needed cooling

If you have confirmed part numbers though, I will make a sticky with it so people have an easier time ordering

Well my metal one actual blew apart, the core inside shattered. So far so good with the new radiator, for 45 dollars I couldn't beat it. I went to Morgan highway auto parts . Out of the 3 turbos only 1 had the radiator. Half the engine was pulled apart though, going back for the pass fender if anyone wants me to look for anything. I read the thread about the 23" radiator so that helped a lot . I don't kno wat I would do without this site. So if anyone needs anything let me kno.
