i ported out my throttle body, turbo coldside air inlet, and the throat of the turbo and outlet...
i lightly ported the exhaust side of my head, inside of my exhaust manifold and from the gasket side also... thare are no casting lines or marks in my intake or exhaust manifolds..
nice and smooth...
the trick is to get yourself a brake hone. (looks just like a cylinder hone but smaller)
made for honing brake piston cylinders..
i also have a 1.5in dingle berry hone or bead hone
... the bead hone works well to smooth out a vj-11 coldside all the way in the outlet to where it turns and makes the snail...
if you hone the inlet DO NOT hone where the turbo wheel spins inside the turbo!!
only the mouth opening...
the same goes for a throttle body..Just the opening, not where the butterfly sits...
smooth the air tract...
