well as the title says, i scored a damn good deal on a 91 XR2.  found a guy with one and asked if hed want to sell it.  he indeed did and informed me it had a new clutch but had an electrical issue, keeps blowing the main fuse.  all he wanted out of it was what he had into the clutch....$600.   So i get it home and find out the genious had the battery cables hooked up backwards.  flipped em around, tossed an 80A fuse in it and she fired up and purred like a kitten.   SCORE!  pics to come

Hey Welcome. Nice score on the XR2. I have been keeping an eye for an XR2. Where did you pick this one up? I think next summer I might get serious about getting rid of my 91 N/A to get a turbo. I wish it was a turbo because it is in fairly good condition and I have done quite a bit of work to it.
